Runners are required to check in at the McKenzie Community Track before boarding the shuttle on race morning.

Packet Pick-Up

Local pre-race packet pick up will be Wednesday June 7th at Coldfire Brewing, 263 Mill Street, in Eugene, 5pm to 7pm.

Friday before the race and Saturday morning packet pick up will be at the McKenzie Community Track and Field, 51326 Blue River Drive in Blue River/Vida.

There will be no packet pick up at the start line.

Shuttles

Shuttling to the start is required due to the road closure to the start line at Carmen Reservoir. The Shuttles will leave the McKenzie Community Track early early on Saturday morning. The exact time is yet to be determined, expect it to be about 0530.

There will be return shuttles from the finish line to the Track.

No spectators at the start due to the restricted parking.

Course

Due to anticipated winter trail damage, we will not know the exact course until closer to race day. The map can be found here.

There will be aid every 4-6 miles. Expect an electrolyte drink and water, poured into your cup, bottle, or bladder, a variety of sodas (ginger ale, coca cola, etc), gels, and other Ultra style snacks, for example: chips, candy, cookies, fruit, and crackers. Bring your own cup. Cups are not provided at the aid stations.

Drop bags will be transported from the McKenzie Community Track to the Trail Bridge aid station (halfway) and back to the Track.

You can leave warm ups at the start line for transport back to the finish line. The finish line is on the course across from the Ranger Station.

Timed cut offs will be at Carmen (aid 2), Trail Bridge (aid 3), Deer Creek (aid 4) and Buck Bridge (aid 5). To respect our volunteers’ time and for your safety, we need to keep this race to 8 hours from start to finish and an average pace of 15:15 per mile (fifteen-ish minutes per mile).

Swag and Goodies

Coffee and breakfast snacks (bagels, bananas) will be available before shuttle boarding at the McKenzie Community Track.

After the run, back at the McKenzie River Track in Blue River, all runners will receive a meal from a local restaurant and beverages.

This year’s Finisher’s Prize is a collaboration beer brewed by Alesong.

Pre-purchased sun shirts from SportHill can be picked up with your bib at packet pick up. (Picking your packet up early still requires check in on race morning, but you don’t have to worry about stashing your swag before boarding the shuttles).
